Lacy Knickers

So, as far as I'm concerned, I want to look fabulous and effortless, but I don't want to feel like I'm wearing ten pounds of product in order for that to happen.  Agreed?
I've been wearing and formulating cosmetics almost as far back as the dinosaurs, so it's safe to say that I bring a bit of ingredient experience to the table.  The one thing that always drove me nuts out there in makeup land was the belief (or was it a rumor) that in order for an eye-shadow to really last the day, you've got to give it something really heavy and sticky to hold on to.  Sorry loves, just not true.
Being that I'm one of the most competitive human beings on the planet, I have tried just about every eye shadow base I could find and I always thought I could do better.  So, I made it a personal goal to create a product that would be:
-easy to apply
-effective
-enjoyable to wear
-great for sensitive skin
-cost-efficient

The result?  Lacy Knickers was born!
It's actually a multi-use product that is fabulous worn alone as your go-to eyeshadow, used as an eye-color base and as an ethereal highlight color on those gorgeous cheek bones! Applying a layer of Lacy Knickers to lids gives your shadows a gentle base they can cling to for all-day, crease-free wear without feeling like you've got the weight of the world on your lids!

There are currently six colors available and all of them have a light-satin pearl finish.  Please be sure to read the color descriptions below because some of them have a fabulous iridescent color delivery too!
As far as texture goes, they feel a bit like a cream to start and once applied to the skin, the finish is a delicious and light-weight your-skin-but-better powder.

How do I apply it?
Cheekbones:  using a smaller contour brush or with your finger, pick up a bit of the Lacy Knickers in the color of your choice, tap off the excess and apply high on cheekbones and at the outermost point under the eye brow for the perfect amount of light to brighten up even the cloudiest days!
Eye-lids:
AS A SHADOW-BASE:  Sorry kids, I don't care what the "experts" say, sometimes you've got to do a little finger-painting!  In this case, using anything beyond your finger to apply this product would result in Lacy Knickers being wasted as it sits on the applicator.  So, using your delicate little ring-finger, swirl it lightly in the Lacy Knicker color of your choice, remembering that less is more and then very gently, starting nearest the brow of your nose, gently tap and press the color onto your lid working out towards the temple.
Depending on the shape of your eye, and where you typically apply your shadows, you can keep the Lacy Knickers just under the brow bone or go all the way up under the brow itself.  We're using a light layer that will be covered by eye-colors so no need to over-do it.
AS AN EYE COLOR on its own:  Let's be honest, some days you just don't feel like fussing with all sorts of eye colors, right?  No worries, you're singing to the cosmetic choir!  On those days when you just want a little light without the whole kit and caboodle, simply use that gorgeous ring finger of yours to pick up a bit of Lacy Knickers in the color of your choice and gently tap it across your lid.  I don't recommend going all the way up to the brow if you're just using this one color because you'll wind up looking like some sort of crazy 1970s Snow Queen.  So let's just keep it simple with a light layer on the lid and a bit of mascara!  A gaw-geous pick-me-up without the fuss!
